Meet the Panelists

Amanda Buonopane – Manager, Innovation Insights & Strategy, Rich Products Corporation

Amanda has 10 years of experience in market research and business insights. She has been with Rich Products for over 4 years and contributes strategic organizational insights, content strategies, trend foresight, consumer sentiment, and more. She currently holds a PhD in Anthropology from University at Buffalo and is persuing her MBA at Niagra University.

Amar Singh – Senior Director, Kantar

Amar leads Kantar’s No. America thought leadership on health and wellness, home improvement, plus is the insights lead on the Canadian market. He creates insights that inform strategic decisions related to key drug, home improvement, discount, convenience, grocery, and digital channels. Amar is a seasoned brand, shopper, and advertising researcher. Before joining Kantar in 2018, he managed consumer insights at a leading CPG brand, which included brand management, packaging optimization, and product innovation. Amar has an MSc in marketing and consumer studies from the University of Guelph in Canada.

Doug Hermanson – Principal Economist, Kantar

Kantar’s principal economist brings more than 10 years of experience in the areas of forecasting and applied economics to Kantar’s Retail, Sales & Shopper practice. He contributes thought leadership and forecasts through Kantar’s consulting offer and syndicated web platform. Doug’s expertise has been featured on Marketplace, Fox Business, and CNBC. He holds an M.S. in economics from The Ohio State University, USA.
