SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS PITCH COMPETITION  

During the Sustainable Development Goals Pitch Competitionstudents will develop a project pitch in response to challenges highlighted by the SDGs following UN SDGs: 3 (good health and well-being), 8 (decent work and economic growth), and 10 (reduced inequalities) Students will sign-up as individuals and be placed on cross-university pitch teams, or 4-6 students from the same Enactus team may sign-up as a pitch team. Each pitch team will receive a challenge brief focused on one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals during a kick-off call the week before Expo. They will then have a week to develop a solution and create and record a 3-minute presentation detailing their ideas. This competition is open to all Enactus students/teams, regardless of participation in either the World Cup Qualifier or Early-Stage Competitions.

PARTICIPATION DETAILS  

  • Students can sign-up as an individual, rank the SDGs they would most like to address, and be placed on a pitch team with Enactus students from other universities  

OR  

  • A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 students from the same Enactus team may register as a pitch team and rank the SDGs they would most like to address

  • March 28 @ 11:59 PM CSTDeadline to sign-up as an individual or team  
  • April 5 @ 5:00 PM CSTMandatory kick-off meeting during which pitch teams will be announced and SDG challenge briefs will be introduced 
  • April 13 @ 11:59 PM CST: Deadline for pitch teams to submit competition materials  
  • April 16 @ 3:00 PM CST: Live virtual award ceremony
